For over 25 years Richard has been passionate about helping individuals and families clarify their values and dreams around money.  Richard focuses on helping to identify where you are now in relation to your financial dreams compared to where you ultimately want to be and any gaps that may exist. This desire to help people plan for their futures was instilled in him early on when his father gave him a book on financial planning and investing.

Richard has an extensive background in the financial industry. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Masters Degree in Tax accounting and went to work for KPMG, the fastest growing Big Four accounting firm in the United States. He has always been firm in the belief that mitigating taxes is one of the best ways of reaching your financial dreams.

Following his accounting experience Richard began his financial planning career with Ameriprise Financial, where he ran his practice for 9 years.  He also established and ran the financial advisory division for a community bank for 13 years.  Along the way he became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) so he could better serve the individuals and families he works with.

In 2014 Richard laid the foundation for what has become Arrivasure Wealth. The sole focus of the company is to help people arrive at their financial dreams as effectively as they can.

Richard enjoys spending time with his wife Annette and their three children Tyler, Elizabeth and Aaron on the Oregon coast and in any Disney Theme Park.  He also loves history and figuring out how things work.
